First of all, this one has been simmering for a long time.......I met a really cool, talented friend on
JustPlainFolks.com, and he recorded it for me. 2nd song on my demo.
The 12 string guitar is played live, but the djembe and flute are digital.
The song is now alive, it has a certain depth of soul all its own......as does the artist who inspired it.
Pris, this one's all yours, my friend!!!!

Anytime someone writes a lyric for a particular friend, it's a very special occasion, not to be confused with any other motive or purpose beyond simply caring for that friend, and celebration of their humanity.
The deletion of my post, or the claim that this post is in some violation of your intended format is, in fact, a violation in and of itself.

Apparently, New Age music has suddenly become very exclusive, which, if I'm not mistaken, does not in any way, shape, form, or defintion describe the genre which I discovered when I met Pris, and if that be so, it's quite a shame to see this happen.

I will not apologize for anything I have done, for there is no need to apologize, but I will say that any interference with my efforts to share my art with my friends here makes no sense.

That's alright, the song will forever remain available for listening and commentary at JustPlainFolks.com, and no one will ever change that.

I have collaborated with Sam and he is not a song composer but a lyrics writer and usually very good and inspirited. I guess that the style of the music has nothing to do with what Sam wanted us to show, that it was only his words.

Sam,
I don´t see any reason for you to complain as long as your work has no relation with the Southern Rock or ballads, and despite we like the music or not, your work has not been criticized neither deleted, as far as I know.
Also as every creative person you are usually somewhat too much sensitive, please do not to take the things to the limits, so please don´t be choleric, there are no reasons to complain.

At first I had to remove the song because 2 reasons. 

1) To put a composition you have to go to the "Create - composition"  menu. Not in the forum.

2) The song is not in the genres we support on this website. We have to be clear on this. I had to delete many others. not only yours. We don't promote Rock psychedelic as the song is categorized in soundclick. I'm happy if you find justplainfolks space good for you because music is a very big art and there have to be places for everybody. 

but then you put it again... and I realized that you dedicate it to Pris as a gift... then I moved it to off topic as a curiosity here on the forum.

first of all, thanks and I feel indeed very touched to have inspired the lyric, and please forward my thanks to your jpfolk fellow, by the way i love jpf site.

On the other hand I have to also agree in Héctor that we have a genre problem, NUEVASMUSICAS.ORG is not a space for songwriters or songs, we accept very few sung tracks, and only if they fit specifically new age,ethereal or heavenly voices. Me, being the administrator self along with Héctor have not share the songs in my own album that are out genre (like Nightmare or Haunted) and I would do i'd do it in the offtopic as well. Many users come randomly to show their music and we have to delete it telling them we are VERY VERY GENRE SPECIFIC, and that's the strong point of NUEVASMUSICAS.ORG that we promote ONLY downtempo, newage and contemporary instrumental music. Not even world music is accepted except if it has a remarkable new age mood. So I hope you understand that even as I'm indeed very touched and really grateful of your mention, it cannot be at the front page, just because of the same reasons we give to all the deleted music from other users out of genre that we have also deleted before you. We have guidelines specifically written and posted about it. And honestly it's a folk-songwriter song, and not within the genred we showcase, if you go to Philo's radio you'll see what kind of music and bands are listed (or in the albums list) and you'll realize yourself.

Pris, as strange as it may sound, I haven't seen any indication before this little tremor that your site was quite so GENRE SPECIFIC, but yes, I do know that now.

I do apologize for any overreactions, and I want to say Thank You for moving the post, instead of deleting it completely...so that others can hear it, too.

As for us personally, we are indeed New Artists, although we may create our art differently, we still come out with New Music, which is where I misunderstood, I didn't think about genre, I just wanted to share something with all of you.
