Masau’u

Masau'u is a group musical compound Spanish for musicians formed in the classical music and jazz. The founders, Daniel Lopez Villalba (Guitars) and Eloy Terrero Terrero (Keyboards) are the authors of all the themes. |
Masau’s style meets with our aesthetic and vital needs. The themes look for the answer to the various questions in our daily lives. Ideas and abstract feelings (or without concrete profiles); on other occasions it is the quest for support and reflection in the aftermath of very recent wounds (11th March), almost always with the proposition of offering hope to the vital confrontation between our individual and personal self, and the alienating outside world.
These themes, just as in painting or poetry, transcend their own identity; and the name or title assigned to any given theme is solely just that: a title. This group is closer to the colour black, which is the sum of all colours, and to all the possible textures, so that from a complex and total identity it can respond to the multiple and distinct necessities – be they spiritual, psychological, etc. - which arise when one contemplates or listens to any work of art and this music has it all.
