Natasha Miren nació en Suiza de un padre holandes y una madre filipina. Hasta los 8 años, su familia se mudó de país tres veces a Holanda, Las Filipinas y Holanda otra vez. A la edad de 9 años decidió tomar clases de piano pero como tenía problemas con leer notas, siempre jugaba de oído. Empezó a componer a los 13 años, y tambien tocaba guitarra con sus amigos en varios grupos de rock. En el verano de 2006, por fin grabó su demo de 5 composiciones "Northern Lights".
Ahora a los 19 años, Natasha vive y estudia en Londres y compone mucha música instrumental para piano y guitarra. Ha tocado en varios acontecimientos y hotels y hace bandas sonoras para películas cortas o juegos cuando tiene la oportunidad.

I have been hearing all your music in "Myspace" and really appreciate all of your works. Apart from the minimalism found in latter pieces I should recall also a classical music influence, especially of the french impressionists. For instance in "Envy" you are playing a Spanish theme as it should be played by Ravel, anyhow after that you develop the rest of the piece trough a more personal perspective.
Also in "The Rocks" a good choice in the harmonies, in the way of Rachmaninoff, in the first half, but in the second half I find that you try to go further and do use non prepared dissonances into main beats, that makes it original and contrasting with the beginning part.
"Northern Lights" is maybe the more elaborated of the pieces, very equilibrated in melody rhythm and harmony, a nice piece for listen and analyze, very good endpoint.
