Personal motives come before sharing music with friends...Nuevas Musicas apparently isn't about new music anymore.

Just to be clear, the personal motives are not mine.

Anytime someone writes a lyric and dedicates said piece of work to a particular friend, it's a very special occasion, not to be confused with any other motive or purpose beyond simply caring for that friend, and celebration of their humanity.
The deletion of my post, or the unfounded claim that this post is in some violation of your intended format is, in fact, a violation in and of itself, and also indicates a lack of professionalism which has no place in the music business.

Apparently, New Age music has suddenly become very exclusive, which, if I'm not mistaken, does not in any way, shape, form, or defintion describe the genre which I discovered when I met Pris, and if that be so, it's quite a shame to see this happen.

I will not apologize for anything I have done, for there is no need to apologize, but I will say that any interference with my efforts to share my art with my friends here makes absolutely no sense at all.

That's alright, "Fantasy?" will forever remain available for listening and commentary at JustPlainFolks.com, and no one will ever change that.

Sam,
I don´t see any reason for you to complain as long as your work has no relation with the Southern Rock or ballads, and despite we like the music or not, your work has not been criticized neither deleted, as far as I know.
Also as every creative person you are usually somewhat too much sensitive, please do not to take the things to the limits, so please don´t be choleric, there are no reasons to complain.

Kind regards
Luis

That's just it.......I don't really know what happened, I was only trying to share what is going on with me and my own musical ventures....like the rest of you have done ever since I came here.

I have been waiting for 4 years that I have been in Nashville for this kind of opportunity to arrive, and, finally, it has.

I wanted to share this audio file, I wrote a piece for someone that I care about, she was quite happy to see it in print...as was everyone else who read it.
Now, it's been turned into a song, and so I thought that everyone would be equally as happy to HEAR IT.
Hmmm, I guess not.

Southern Rock? That's funny, this is about as close to New Age as I could get.....I asked for the instrumentation to include strictly acoustics, finger picking on a 12 string acoustic guitar, a djembe, and a flute... Maybe the software that was used made it sound different from what you all are used to, but this is by no means Southern Rock.

I'm not overly sensitive, I'm just not being treated equally when I try to share NEW MUSIC.

Seems kind of insane, I have posted other audio files on this forum before, and never heard this......Nice little song, though.

Your music is different from what I am used to, but I don't say anything about it, I listen to it.....quite often, actually.
Because I choose to.

I'm not overly sensitive, I'm just not being treated equally when I try to share NEW MUSIC.

I have listened to the track..

Well personaly I think that you can't strongly put this track in Rock, as it has some melancholy and in the same time relaxing feeling. I think the genre is described not only bu the used instruments, but from the overall impact that the song gives away. I do not why it is deleted or by what purpose, but I will give example many of the tracks of Mike Oldfield sound similar to Rock or Ballads, but they are definied like New Age everywhere I look for him.

I like the spirit in the track, but I have to admit there are more technical work over it, but I guess this is exposure of composition. Who is singing? Is that you? I know you are write lyrics.

Anyway congratulation on this work, seems you are pretty much inspired. I am glad you find a people to collaborate with. I hope you will not leave NM, just because of this and will continue come along.

Respect
Sleepwalker
